Walker Adams understands that committing to a design in the early stages of a project can be costly and not always the right direction. We can tailor your prototyping needs to suit your budget.

With chassis and powertrain components, we have a balance of in-house manufacturing and outsourcing. Full final assembly is done on site. This can be done for prototype vehicles, system demonstrators, and component and system test rigs.

For body components, this can start with a full vehicle model or a part model. Moulds are then created so that body panels can be created in GRP or carbon fibre. The level of finish can be tailored to meet initial needs. Almost all of the processes are done in house.

Once the customer is satisfied with the initial prototype, we can move onto low volume production. Whole vehicles are generally built in batches of five. Subsystem volumes can be larger.
